Mid-Level Privacy and AI Governance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the AI governance program by outlining phases, roles, risk classification criteria, templates, and metrics.

• Manage the OneTrust AI Governance module comprehensively.

• Oversee the inventory of AI systems, including their registration, updates, and classification.

• Execute AI impact assessments in accordance with the EU AI Act, Brazil’s LGPD, and Brazil’s AI Legal Framework.

• Create and implement approval workflows for new use cases and models.

• Maintain dashboards for algorithmic risk.

• Map and review Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), including uploading and updating records in OneTrust.

• Facilitate guidance, information-gathering, and validation meetings with various business areas.

• Initiate the assessment queue within the platform.

• Assist with asset assessments and privacy risk evaluations.

• Handle the daily activities of the privacy account in the absence of the primary owner.

• Contribute to the AI governance program for an enterprise client in the education sector and support the privacy workstream for additional accounts, including a financial institution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Understanding of AI governance, encompassing the EU AI Act, Brazil’s AI Legal Framework, and standards such as ISO/IEC 42001 or the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), acquired through practical experience or specialized training.

• Capability to establish an AI governance program from the ground up, defining its structure, templates, workflows, and metrics.

• Hands-on experience in privacy and data protection, including mapping and documenting processing activities and conducting interviews with business areas.

• Familiarity with operating a privacy platform, with a readiness to enhance expertise in OneTrust and its AI Governance module.

• Flexibility to work with multiple clients within the same week, without the necessity for full-time commitment to a single client.

• Self-sufficiency and organizational skills to allocate time effectively among various clients while managing priorities and deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to propose workflow designs and generate legal opinions, executive reports, and training materials.
