Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of dependable web applications encompassing frontend, API, and data layers.

• Implement product features from start to finish using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.

• Craft responsive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.

• Design and incorporate REST APIs utilizing Express.

• Model and query relational data using PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM.

• Define and verify application boundaries with Zod.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to shape features.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Integrate Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI into the daily workflow and thoroughly review their outputs.

• Work with AI frameworks and APIs to develop AI-driven product capabilities.

• Contribute to the development of effective and safe AI-assisted development practices.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and deployments.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Help elevate engineering standards as the product and team expand.

• Take ownership of significant features from requirements through to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally 2–5 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent practical exposure.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with React or another contemporary frontend framework.

• Backend experience with Node.js and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or another relational database.

• Proven track record of delivering features across frontend, backend, and persistence layers.

• Comprehensive understanding of HTTP, data modeling, validation, and error handling.

• Experience in writing automated tests and working within Git-based workflows.

• Genuine willingness to engage in daily AI-assisted development using agentic coding tools like Claude Code CLI or Codex CLI.

• Experience with AI frameworks and APIs in product development.

• Ability to thoroughly review AI-generated code and take full responsibility for submitted work.

• Strong technical judgment, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high standard for quality.

• Capacity to work independently, communicate effectively, and ask pertinent questions early.
