This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Design and uphold front-end features, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
• Execute product specifications and UX designs utilizing established architectural and coding standards.
• Create reusable, responsive, and accessible user-interface components.
• Develop backend business logic, manage database interactions, application APIs, and background tasks.
• Produce clean, comprehensible, and maintainable code.
• Construct and sustain unit, integration, component, and end-to-end tests.
• Engage in technical planning, estimation, refinement, and implementation dialogues.
• Recognize requirement gaps, technical risks, dependencies, and edge cases during the development process.
• Diagnose defects and production issues with guidance from senior engineers when necessary.
• Actively participate in pull-request reviews and respond positively to feedback.
• Maintain technical documentation for the functionalities developed.
• Collaborate with QA to confirm acceptance criteria and enhance test coverage.
• Work alongside DevOps to address deployment, environmental, and operational challenges.
• Utilize logging, monitoring, browser tools, and database queries to analyze application behavior.
• Employ AI-assisted engineering tools to expedite development, test creation, documentation, and troubleshooting while ensuring accuracy of all generated outputs.
• Engage in release validation and production support activities.
• Approximately 3 to 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Professional experience in building production web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React or another modern component-based frontend framework.
• Understanding of component design, state management, API integration, responsive layouts, and frontend testing.
• Backend development experience in Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or similar technologies.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
• Understanding of common data-modeling concepts.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience in writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Basic understanding of cloud-hosted applications, deployment pipelines, containers, and application environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects using logs, browser development tools, API clients, and database queries.
• Understanding of fundamental software design principles and common web application security issues.
