Mid-level Frontend Software Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Addon WhatsApp team, dedicated to enhancing and promoting the messaging product.

• Take the lead in resolving frontend technical challenges, creating conversational interfaces, components, and experiences that are dependable, efficient, and scalable.

• Design, test, and launch new features and enhancements.

• Conduct code reviews on pull requests.

• Assist product operations to ensure an excellent customer experience.

• Provide support to both internal and external customers, striving for permanent issue resolution.

• Share expertise with colleagues, the organization, and the broader community.

• Create solutions while considering cost, impact, and resource optimization.

• Engage in technical discussions and product planning.

• Develop and sustain components and features using React.

• Implement ongoing improvements focused on enhancing user experience.

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

• Collaborate with business teams to translate needs into technical solutions.

• Suggest and execute innovative solutions to enhance the sales process and customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in frontend development, particularly with React.

• Familiarity with Git and best practices in version control.

• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.

• Capability to work independently and complete end-to-end development tasks.

• Knowledge of module bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, and Parcel.

• Experience with automated unit and integration testing.

• Nice to have: experience with micro front-ends, SPA navigation, and conversational products.

• Nice to have: interest or experience in sales, conversational platforms, chatbots, and AI.

• Nice to have: eagerness to share knowledge through mentoring, community involvement, articles, presentations, or open source projects.
