Mid-level DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Administer and manage Linux environments

• Design, configure, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins

• Develop and oversee Jenkins Pipelines, Jenkins Seed, and DSL

• Collaborate with Jenkins Configuration as Code (CasC)

• Automate configuration and deployment processes through Ansible

• Create and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and inventories

• Manage variables according to environment and server groups

• Utilize Docker and Docker Compose

• Participate in the build and packaging processes using Maven

• Deploy and manage applications on JBoss WildFly

• Configure and manage Tomcat servers

• Work with Apache HTTP Server, including reverse proxy and load balancing

• Manage WildFly server pools

• Automate build, deployment, and server configuration processes

• Support the operation of development, staging, and production environments

• Analyze application, pipeline, server logs, and deployment processes

• Diagnose and resolve issues in builds, pipelines, and deployments

• Ensure secure management of credentials, tokens, and environment variables

• Assist with deployments and maintenance of AGHUse in hospital environments and public institutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline

• Professional experience as a DevOps engineer

• Proficient in Linux environments

• Strong understanding of Git and GitLab

• Familiarity with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline

• Knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Playbooks

• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose

• Understanding of Maven and build processes

• Experience with JBoss WildFly

• Knowledge of Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server

• Proven experience in automating build, deployment, and environment configuration

• Familiarity with log analysis and troubleshooting in production environments

• Plus: experience with AGHUse

• Plus: experience deploying AGHUse in university hospitals or large public institutions

• Plus: knowledge of Jenkins Seed, DSL, and Jenkins CasC

• Plus: experience with Ansible Roles and Ansible Galaxy

• Plus: understanding of managing WildFly server pools

• Plus: experience in development, staging, and production environments

• Plus: experience with security and management of credentials, tokens, and environment variables

• Plus: experience in high-availability and mission-critical environments

• Willingness to travel
