This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in project development and strategic planning, encompassing market, technology, and policy evaluations.
• Lead and contribute to economic and cost analyses, risk assessments, and contracting strategies for projects.
• Support or oversee technical due diligence and owner’s engineering assessments for power and energy initiatives.
• Offer program and project management assistance to clients, enhancing governance, business processes, controls, and stakeholder engagement.
• Create conceptual plans in collaboration with technical teams.
• Develop and present project implementation strategies and plans to client executives and project teams.
• Convert intricate technical findings into presentations and written reports suitable for clients.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary consulting and engineering teams serving clients in the energy sector.
• Assist clients in formulating strategies for both new and existing power projects as well as enhancing business operations.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, public policy, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in the energy or power industry.
• Previous experience in management consulting or advisory roles, including direct client engagement and responsibility for analytical deliverables.
• Familiarity with electric or gas utilities, independent power producers, project developers, grid operators, or energy investors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in working with quantitative models, large datasets, and financial or economic analysis.
• Competency in creating Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and written reports.
• Ability to convey complex subjects to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Experience engaging in client meetings, workshops, or presentations.
• Capability to manage various tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, project-oriented consulting atmosphere.
• A high degree of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• U.S. work authorization; the employer does not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S.
• Valued but not required: experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design evaluations.

• Valued but not required: understanding of electric utility business models, planning processes, and operations.
