This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Deliver daily support for cloud security, network security, proxy, and SASE/SSE functionalities.
• Receive, investigate, troubleshoot, document, and resolve O&M tickets, incidents, service requests, and technical issues reported by customers.
• Modify, implement, and troubleshoot proxy security policies and rules in accordance with approved security standards and operational procedures.
• Interact directly with customers and stakeholders to comprehend requirements, provide updates on status, clarify technical matters, and facilitate resolutions.
• Analyze traffic flows, logs, alerts, and technical data to determine root causes of security and connectivity challenges.
• Collaborate with teams across network, cloud, cybersecurity, application, infrastructure, and service desk functions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, troubleshooting guides, configuration records, ticket documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Assist in and conduct the implementation and testing of new security capabilities, technologies, and configuration adjustments.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred (4 years of experience may substitute for a degree).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, cloud security, proxy administration, network security, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
• A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in configuring and managing SASE or SSE technologies such as Netskope, Blue Coat, Zscaler, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in supporting O&M operations, including ticket management, incident resolution, service requests, configuration alterations, and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in analyzing network traffic, logs, alerts, and system data to address technical and security issues.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical support or engineering role, working with customers or stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in documenting technical issues, troubleshooting processes, resolutions, and configuration adjustments.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
