Mid-Level Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions.

• Extract, transform, and analyze data utilizing SQL and specialized tools.

• Construct and uphold dimensional data models.

• Produce analyses, metrics, and insights to aid in business decision-making.

• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of solutions.

• Guarantee the quality, performance, and reliability of the information delivered.

• Clearly and objectively convey results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Complete an online case study and present the findings during a competency-based interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related discipline, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering; or a bachelor’s degree in any field combined with a postgraduate degree, MBA, or qualification in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.

• At least 6 months of experience in data analysis.

• Proven experience in creating dimensional models.

• Experience in report generation.

• Proficient in developing dashboards on business intelligence platforms.

• Familiarity with Power BI.

• Knowledge of SQL, including querying, data manipulation, and optimization techniques.

• Understanding of dimensional data modeling.

• Proficient in Python for data analysis and automation tasks.

• Knowledge of Big Data tools and environments.

• Familiarity with BI platform administration, covering user management, permissions, and publishing processes.

• Understanding of Git version control.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.

• A Google account (Gmail) for verification via Google Hangouts.

• A GitHub account to complete the practical assessment.

• Submission of an official photo ID (Brazilian identity card or driver’s license) and proof of education alongside the completed case study.
