Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm's clientele across diverse issues.

• Examine documents and compose pleadings along with other legal submissions.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance case results while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to relevant legal standards.

• Serve as a negotiator and expert in dispute resolution.

• Manage various phases of legal proceedings, from document review and contract drafting to client representation in judicial and administrative settings.

• Execute and oversee legal advisory functions.

• Confirm that commercial transactions, contracts, and privacy practices align with applicable laws and regulations.

• Oversee and coordinate a portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Guide the assessment and creation of pleadings and legal documents.

• Generate litigation and legal contingency reports utilizing the firm's systems.

• Draft and institute legal instruments of varying complexities.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal analyses, and suggest legal alternatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate education in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law is advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Experience in drafting pleadings and reviewing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with civil and procedural law.

• Proficient in legal research.

• Competence in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Skills in deadline and case management.
