Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm's clientele across a variety of issues.

• Examine documents and compose legal pleadings.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance the potential for success while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to relevant legal standards.

• Act as a negotiator and a professional in dispute resolution.

• Manage different phases of legal proceedings, from reviewing and drafting contracts to representing clients in both judicial and administrative settings.

• Conduct, organize, and supervise legal advisory functions.

• Ensure that commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy protocols align with applicable laws and regulations.

• Oversee and manage the portfolio of judicial and administrative actions in collaboration with clients.

• Guide the examination and formulation of legal pleadings and documentation.

• Prepare litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and implement legal instruments of varying degrees of complexity.

• Evaluate risks, conduct legal assessments, and propose legal alternatives to further the firm’s goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate education in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law is advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or a corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong emphasis on drafting legal pleadings and reviewing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Capability to work efficiently as part of a team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of Civil and Procedural Law.

• Proficiency in legal research.

• Competence in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Ability to manage deadlines and cases effectively.

• Adherence to professional ethics.
