Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm's clientele across a variety of issues.

• Examine documents and prepare pleadings along with other legal submissions.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance case results while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and contribute to reaching established objectives while maintaining legal certainty.

• Serve as a negotiator and conflict-resolution expert, facilitating effective resolutions.

• Manage different phases of legal processes, from contract review and drafting to representing clients in court and administrative hearings.

• Conduct and oversee legal advisory tasks, ensuring compliance in commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy regulations.

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Direct the review and preparation of pleadings and legal documents.

• Generate litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s systems.

• Draft and finalize legal instruments of varying complexities.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal analyses, and suggest legal alternatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a law firm or within a corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong emphasis on drafting pleadings and reviewing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of civil and procedural law.

• Proficiency in legal research.

• Expertise in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Effective deadline and case management abilities.
