Mid-Level Analytics Analyst, SQL, Python, Web Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in a remote project for a financial organization

• Convert digital navigation data into actionable insights and product suggestions

• Chart digital product journeys, pinpointing friction points, opportunities, and effects on user experience

• Examine digital navigation data, encompassing events, journeys, funnels, and usage behaviors

• Handle and analyze substantial volumes of data utilizing SQL and Python

• Construct and enhance complex queries

• Create dashboards and track key digital product metrics

• Assist in defining and validating tagging and navigation events

• Question assumptions and spot opportunities to enhance user experience and conversion rates

• Present insights and recommendations to collaborating teams

• Shape product decisions

• Act as a consultant for business teams by comprehending the underlying needs behind their inquiries

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics or data analysis

• Proficiency in advanced SQL (Databricks, Spark SQL, BigQuery, or similar)

• Experience in constructing and optimizing complex queries

• Familiarity with window functions

• Experience in analyzing large data sets

• Previous experience with Databricks

• Knowledge of Web Analytics and digital data, including events, journeys, funnels, browsing behaviors, and tagging

• Familiarity with Power BI for developing executive dashboards and monitoring key metrics (a plus)

• Experience with Adobe Analytics (a plus)

• Background in digital products, digital channels, or customer experience (a plus)

• Consultative approach and the capability to challenge assumptions

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with partner teams

• Proactive attitude and initiative to identify opportunities

• Business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations

• Investigative mindset and curiosity to delve into data and uncover root causes

• Advanced SQL knowledge and practical experience are crucial

• Expertise in Web Analytics and digital data with hands-on experience is essential
