This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Initiate, oversee, and expand new multi-product and multi-country client relationships.
• Take ownership of client interactions, anticipating future requirements, challenges, business risks, and industry headwinds.
• Foster innovation in our client solutions through collaborations with product specialists and subject matter experts, while structuring deals that balance both risk and reward.

• Manage client-level planning, including budget and revenue responsibilities.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities to enhance and increase our share of wallet.
• Deliver complex multi-product solutions across various regions, including regional cash management, coordinated hedging, and capital raising solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Credit Loan Management and Independent Risk to establish new credit relationships and monitor the existing credit portfolio.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Citi's policies/guidelines at all times.
• Engage with clients to deepen relationships while proactively identifying and addressing future needs, challenges, risks, and expectations.
• Present tailored solutions to clients to build and strengthen an effective portfolio.
• Partner with product specialists and subject matter experts to design innovative and customized solutions that cater to clients’ unique requirements.
• Work closely with the Case Manager to onboard and retain clients, ensuring compliance with “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other necessary deliverables; identify cross-sell opportunities to enhance our share of wallet; optimize client experience through proactive sharing of market updates, trends, and intelligence.
• Lead innovation in the solutions we offer clients and further develop our business where appropriate.
• Network with clients to uncover new business opportunities; manage the client's credit relationship, coordinating and supervising the entire process while ensuring proper application of policies and institutional processes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and Citi's policies/guidelines at all times.
• Carefully assess risk in business decisions, giving special attention to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations while adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment in behavior and business practices, and transparently addressing control issues.
• Over 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking with exposure to technology clients.
• Current FINRA Licenses (79, 63, and SIE) or the ability to obtain them upon onboarding.
• A self-starter with a collaborative mindset – a proven history of successful new client acquisitions and effective risk management.
• Strong knowledge of banking and investment products and processes.
• Demonstrates intermediate to advanced credit skills; capable of structuring more complex deals, including global transactions.
• Exhibits expert-level Early Warning Detection skills.
• Possesses advanced credit skills; capable of structuring all credit deals and guiding staff through the credit deal approval process.
• Shows advanced knowledge of Citi's credit processes and credit appetite.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Capacity to coordinate multi-functional teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities (e.g., negotiation, consultative skills, leadership).
• Ability to perform well under pressure while making sound decisions.
• Highly focused with the capability to swiftly identify key priorities and communicate them clearly.
• Responsible for significant direct business results or providing authoritative advice regarding business operations.
• A proactive approach to strengthening business relationships with clients, delivering a simple, secure, and seamless client experience.
• Ability to embrace new technology and comprehend the role of digital in enhancing client experience.
