This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide support for designated infrastructure technologies to guarantee reliability, availability, and optimal performance.

• Evaluate business and technical needs, creating infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Oversee and assist with infrastructure projects by employing recognized project management practices.

• Design, implement, and sustain infrastructure architecture, standards, procedures, and documentation.

• Track infrastructure performance and carry out maintenance, upgrades, and remediation tasks.

• Assess infrastructure processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Prepare project estimates, resource needs, and cost analyses for effective planning and decision-making.

• Work collaboratively with business leaders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver technology solutions and meet service commitments.

• Offer technical advice, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to team members and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, security protocols, governance frameworks, and business continuity practices.

• Act as the senior technical administrator within Information Services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Required: Technical training with certification in relevant technology as applicable.

• Required: At least eight years of experience in I.T. and/or application development.

• Advanced understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, architecture, and system administration principles.

• Familiarity with networking, security, operating systems, storage, databases, disaster recovery, and related technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and manage intricate technical projects and initiatives.

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and standards.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders.

• Knowledge of IT service management, change management, ITIL, COBIT, and Agile methodologies.

• Self-sufficient working style, exercising sound judgment, and providing technical leadership and mentoring.

• Must be reachable via mobile during non-working hours for upgrades, system outages, and configuration changes.

• Must live in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School.

• Preferred: Experience managing Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Preferred: Background in planning and executing Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant modernization initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Authentication Methods, and Identity Governance.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Purview, including Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, and Records Management.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Defender for Office 365 and Proofpoint security/compliance solutions.

• Preferred: Experience creating guest access and external collaboration controls.

• Preferred: Advanced PowerShell skills for Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Graph.

• Preferred: Experience in creating automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Graph API, or Ansible.

• Preferred: Experience serving as an escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 challenges.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

• Manual dexterity necessary to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other IT-related equipment.

• Capability to work in a standard office environment and attend meetings both in person and virtually.
