Metadata Management Specialist, Collibra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure and import metadata from relevant systems into the Collibra data catalog.

• Transfer technical metadata enrichment, lineage, and mappings from one system to another within Collibra.

• Develop reusable test cases to ensure the successful migration of metadata, lineage, enrichment, and mappings for different use cases.

• Assess the migration results, including cataloging, lineage, and enrichment, and communicate the findings to the business function team.

• Suggest automation solutions to enhance migration efficiency.

• Assist the business function team in validating the migrated metadata, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.

• Extensive experience in metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance.

• Expertise in metadata modeling and management tools such as Collibra.

• In-depth knowledge of data management principles and best practices.

• Proven strong interpersonal skills, accountability, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Strong negotiation skills, experience with AGILE and DevOps methodologies, and a strategic mindset.
