MES Technical Lead – Apriso

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the complete lifecycle of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with a focus on MES and Apriso.

• Design, create, test, implement, maintain, and enhance MES applications and systems.

• Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and IT personnel to establish requirements and design manufacturing solutions.

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable MES code in accordance with best practices and coding standards.

• Engage in code reviews and share MES expertise with the team.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing MES systems as needed.

• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.

• Leverage emerging MES technologies to enhance manufacturing systems and processes.

• Partner with QA teams to guarantee application quality and compliance with manufacturing standards.

• Estimate tasks, identify obstacles in manufacturing processes, and propose effective solutions.

• Optimize MES systems for performance, scalability, and compliance across production facilities.

• Provide support for EU time zones.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in IT Systems operations, specifically centered on regulatory and Quality Solutions.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, within manufacturing environments.

• Strong understanding of MES principles and software engineering patterns.

• Experience with the Apriso platform and various MES technologies.

• Proficient in version control systems like GitHub.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex manufacturing challenges.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with production teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and MES integration with enterprise systems like ERP and PLM.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• ITIL 4, Prince 2, or GMP certification is a plus.
