This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• The selected candidate will participate in the design, development, enhancement, and implementation of software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s Center of Excellence (COE) for enterprise MES, along with integrations with other enterprise products for our internal Operations clients.

• This position will assist in troubleshooting software application issues, resolving systems integration and compatibility challenges, and managing tasks within the software development lifecycle.

• The Digital MES team at Pratt and Whitney seeks a highly driven, self-motivated individual eager to deliver digital solutions within our MES & Manufacturing Operations Management enterprise platform, supporting our global facilities.

• Current strategic initiatives involve aiding the existing Manufacturing, Assembly, and Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) sectors, with a future focus on supporting the roadmap for MES by deploying next-generation solutions across the value streams, initiating new site implementations, and integrating with emerging technologies for IIOT and Industry 4.0.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree in the same fields with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting the JAVA programming language.

• Familiarity with SQL products.

• Experience with GitHub and JIRA for DevOps management.

• Knowledge in data analytics and system integration.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to Government contractual obligations.
