This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete implementation, configuration, and deployment of AVEVA MES solutions for manufacturing clients.
• Collect and assess business requirements from Portuguese-speaking stakeholders and convert them into scalable MES solutions.
• Set up production models, workflows, work orders, material tracking, quality management, genealogy, and production reporting on the AVEVA MES platform.
• Design and execute integrations between AVEVA MES and enterprise applications such as ERP, SCADA, PLC, Historian, and other shop-floor automation systems.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, automation, IT, and operations to deliver vital business solutions.
• Facilitate system design workshops, solution evaluations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production rollouts.
• Diagnose production issues, enhance system performance, and provide ongoing application support.
• Generate technical documentation, functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals in line with project standards.
• Guide junior consultants and offer technical leadership throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, quality regulations, and best practices.
• Assist in digital transformation initiatives encompassing Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and operational excellence programs.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT and manufacturing systems.
• In-depth expertise in AVEVA MES implementation, configuration, customization, and support.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Significant experience in implementing MES solutions within manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production, quality, inventory, traceability, and genealogy.
• Experience in integrating MES with ERP systems, SCADA, PLCs, Historians, and industrial automation platforms.
• Familiarity with manufacturing data collection, reporting, and analytics.
• Background in solution architecture, system configuration, deployment, and production support.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage multiple implementation projects in global manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
