Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess, structure, and implement acquisition opportunities

• Conduct financial modeling, valuations, and scenario analyses

• Facilitate due diligence by overseeing cross-functional teams and external advisors

• Examine industry trends and competitive landscapes to pinpoint strategic acquisition targets

• Manage the M&A CRM system to track targets, deal pipeline progress, and engagement history

• Present insights and recommendations to leadership

• Aid in structuring deal terms and negotiating agreements

• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure transaction compliance and outcomes

• Work with internal teams and external consultants to streamline deal processes

• Create and deliver presentations to executive leadership

• Assist in post-transaction integration and realization of deal value

• Monitor key performance indicators and report results to stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is necessary

• 1–3 years of pertinent experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity

• Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

• Capacity to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, depending on remote location
