Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Achieve retail merchandising and sales objectives across all channels within the designated territory.

• Fulfill client expectations concerning retail sales coverage and productivity in the assigned area.

• Support retail and sales initiatives (such as new product launches, contests, 30-day speed-to-shelf, etc.) as directed.

• Enter and transmit data promptly as required by management.

• Implement the retail territory coverage plan to ensure that merchandising coverage targets are achieved.

• Collaborate closely with management and cultivate professional relationships to facilitate smooth and cooperative efforts in marketing, promoting, and selling products.

• Carry out merchandising events within the assigned territory.

• Complete special projects as instructed by the Manager.

• Ensure full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts according to the plan-o-gram.

• Rotate stock, clean and restock displays, and price merchandise as necessary.

• Perform tasks such as checking date codes and ensuring compliance with the approved plan-o-gram.

• Inform the Manager about outdated products, stock imbalances, out-of-stock situations, and point-of-purchase requirements.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Previous retail experience is preferred, although not mandatory.

• Strong demonstration of key competencies: Quality Commitment, Attention to Detail, Customer Service, and Communication Skills.

• Must be proficient in utilizing technology.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to drive for extended periods.

• Availability for occasional weekend work (Demos and Food Shows) as well as the ability to work nights and holidays (specifics will be defined by the position).

• Willingness and ability to work in extremely cold environments (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).

• Effective communication skills, good vision, and capability to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, screwdriver, and case cutter.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
