Mentor Protégé Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations, providing supervision, guidance, and support to project team members.

• Direct all activities related to the Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) in alignment with program goals and Government regulations.

• Perform needs assessments, program evaluations, and management reviews to facilitate ongoing program enhancement.

• Create, review, coordinate, and manage Mentor-Protégé Agreements and their accompanying documentation.

• Prepare and evaluate program materials, reports, correspondence, and documentation in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.

• Monitor, track, and manage MPP budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting obligations.

• Organize vendor meetings, stakeholder interactions, workshops, and other program-related events.

• Ensure necessary accommodations and logistical arrangements are provided for meetings and program activities.

• Conduct research and offer analytical support regarding MPP compliance standards and program effectiveness.

• Track program metrics and generate status reports, briefings, and recommendations for Government leadership.

• Collaborate with Government staff, mentors, protégés, and industry stakeholders to achieve program goals.

• Identify potential program risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful program implementation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Communications, or a related discipline.

• At least five (5) years of experience in program management, project management, or Federal program support.

• Proven experience in supervising personnel and coordinating cross-functional teams.

• In-depth understanding of program management principles, practices, and reporting standards.

• Experience in creating reports, correspondence, and program documentation for executive-level stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred Qualifications: Background in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) entities or Federal small business initiatives.

• Experience in supporting Mentor-Protégé Programs, supplier diversity efforts, or business development initiatives.

• Knowledge of Federal acquisition, small business, and contracting regulations.

• Experience in managing budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting tasks.

• Experience in organizing stakeholder meetings, events, and outreach activities.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

• Familiarity with SharePoint and document management systems.

• Ability to develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and program tracking documentation.

• Knowledge of collaboration and productivity tools in a governmental setting.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
