Mental Health Therapist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and collaboratively create evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Deliver individual psychotherapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms.

• Assist members facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, while also being open to working with those experiencing substance use disorders.

• Keep clear and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record system.

• Coordinate care as necessary and foster a supportive, multidisciplinary work environment.

• Engage in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations.

• Comply with HIPAA and relevant state licensure regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and verifiable Iowa LISW, LMFT, or LMHC license; must also be licensed in your state of residence if it is not Iowa.

• Credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website.

• Experience in providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environments.

• Strong communication and clinical skills with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.

• Proficiency with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace along with reliable internet access.
