This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide EFAP and other designated clinical services, which encompass confidential counselling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments.
• Perform telephonic assessments via queued calls and Meet Now for issues related to behavioral and emotional health, family matters, wellness, workplace concerns, personal situations, and crises.
• Offer practical strategies for clients.
• Accept case assignments, formulate treatment plans, document progress notes, and determine case closure in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Create personalized action plans under regular supervision.
• Conduct thorough psycho-social and risk assessments.
• Support interventions aimed at suicide prevention and other risk management strategies.
• Document intervention notes and maintain tracking records.
• Adhere to established service-level and direct-service goals.
• Consult with Stay at Work Clinical Management and work alongside colleagues to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Facilitate workshops as necessary.
• Provide Crisis Management Services as required.
• A Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• Active registration with a relevant governing authority as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Canadian Certified Counsellor.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience addressing a range of mental health and situational challenges.
• Training and experience in solution-focused and/or cognitive behavioral short-term therapies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, along with active listening skills in both English and French.
• Proficiency in English is essential to assist English- and French-speaking clients and colleagues across the nation.
• Competence in risk assessment and online research methodologies.
• Resourcefulness in identifying and accessing emergency and community resources throughout Canada.
• Strong empathetic client service skills and outstanding customer service delivery.
• A flexible and creative approach to single-session counselling.
• Familiarity with measurement-based care; prior experience is an advantage.
