Mental Health Expert, Part-Time, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on confidential projects centered around AI safety and mental health policy concerning large language models (LLMs)

• Engage in roleplaying clinical scenarios with AI agents

• Conduct red teaming exercises

• Identify behavioral edge cases

• Assist in the accurate identification and response to psychological distress

• Develop psychometrics, rubrics, behavioral taxonomies, and evaluations

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish, preferably Mexican Spanish, though candidates from other regions are also welcome

• Graduate-level education (past or present) in psychology, counseling, social work, psychiatry, or a related discipline

• Experience in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and dealing with severe psychopathology

• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (LLMs)

• Strong grasp of ethics and confidentiality principles

• Capability to work remotely, utilizing Slack, LLM tools, and Microsoft Office

• Comfort with ambiguity and feedback-oriented tasks

• Willingness to sign non-disclosure agreements and engage with sensitive material

• Availability for up to 10 hours per week and for occasional scheduled meetings

• Completed degree and/or licensure

• Over 5 years of experience in clinical crisis situations

• Experience working with youth and young adults in clinical settings

• Background in roleplay, theatre, or conversational design

• Experience in trust & safety, content moderation, or behavioral data labeling

• Interest in AI, NLP, or ML applications in clinical environments

• Active participation in online communities (e.g., Discord, Reddit)
