This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the membership sales and admissions process from initial contact to final decision-making, which includes:
• Identifying and reaching out to potential members who would be an excellent fit for the Agency.
• Creating and managing a pipeline of agency founders and leaders.
• Conducting thoughtful, advisory-style sales discussions with prospective members.
• Asking insightful questions to comprehend a founder’s business, objectives, challenges, and compatibility with the network.
• Clearly and confidently articulating the value of the Agency.
• Addressing questions, concerns, and objections without being pushy or overly transactional.
• Assessing potential members against our admissions criteria and membership standards.
• Making recommendations on who should be admitted, declined, or nurtured for future opportunities.
• Closing deals with aligned prospective members and facilitating a seamless onboarding process.
• Following up consistently and professionally to ensure no strong prospect is overlooked.
• Keeping track of pipeline activities, notes, and subsequent steps in an organized manner.
• Assisting in the development of resources needed for this function, such as outreach templates, call guides, follow-up systems, CRM workflows, evaluation rubrics, and admissions procedures.
• Providing market feedback to refine our positioning, qualification criteria, and member experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, recruiting, admissions, partnerships, community, or another relationship-focused role.
• Experience in owning or contributing to a sales pipeline, which includes outreach, discovery, follow-up, and closing.
• Comfortable initiating thoughtful outbound communications and engaging with unfamiliar individuals.
• Possess strong sales instincts, but understand that not every conversation should aim for a close.
• Capable of asking better questions than pitching a sale.
• Attentive listener who can quickly grasp what someone is genuinely seeking.
• Comfortable engaging in substantive business conversations with senior founders.
• Value quality, trust, and the cultivation of long-term relationships.
• Possess the judgment to discern when someone is not an ideal fit and the confidence to communicate that professionally.
• Organized, proactive, and adept at managing your own pipeline.
• Resourceful and adaptable in an early-stage environment.
• Enthusiastic about building the tools you need rather than waiting for a perfect playbook.
