This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.
• Process and maintain enrollment applications, which include eligibility data, effective dates, benefits, and member information.
• Review accounts for completeness and collaborate with employers, agents, and carriers to finalize processing.
• Generate, review, and reconcile both individual and group billings.
• Ensure accurate and timely cash processing in accordance with corporate standards.
• Deliver customer service to both internal and external clients through written communication and phone interactions.
• Monitor and follow up on aged accounts.
• Apply underwriting and governmental guidelines, ensuring compliance with federal, state, BCBSA, and accreditation regulations.
• Order and audit member cards.
• Research documentation and coordinate electronic data transfers with CMS, employer groups, and vendors.
• Participate in training, assist with testing, perform clerical tasks, and provide staff backup as necessary.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or customer billing.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM with 95% accuracy is necessary.
• Proficiency in 10-key by touch is preferred (8,500 keystrokes/hour).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar software is essential.
• Strong mathematical skills are required.
• Experience with AI tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage work independently is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Capacity to build effective working relationships and exercise sound judgment and discretion is necessary.
• A wired internet connection is required, with a minimum upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 10Mb; satellite or cellular connections are not acceptable.
• Access to a personal mobile device for multi-factor authentication is required.
