Member of Technical Staff – Product & Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop clinician-oriented products and services that assess, deliver, and clarify compiled decision artifacts.

• Create integrations that gather patient context and embed recommendations within clinical workflows.

• Design production assurances regarding artifact versioning, provenance, execution traces, observability, deployment, and rollback.

• Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure teams.

• Investigate complex failures from their source.

• Transform custom deployments into reusable product features while respecting local clinical variances.

• Incorporate production insights back into product and compiler development.

• Take ownership of challenges through design, implementation, deployment, and operational learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality production software from start to finish and maintaining accountability for its performance post-release.

• Strong engineering fundamentals, in-depth knowledge in one area of the stack, and the versatility to work across other areas.

• Proven experience in building and deploying software that integrates with EHRs and clinical workflows.

• Experience in executing healthcare data exchange in production using FHIR, HL7 v2, or similar interoperability standards.

• Strong product acumen with attention to clarity, latency, cognitive load, and user interaction details.

• Experience in constructing reliable systems with systematic testing, observability, security, and release methodologies.

• Ability to manage your own workload and communicate effectively with clinicians, researchers, and external partners.

• Must have eligibility to work in the United States or Canada.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Bonus: Experience in regulated software or other safety-critical fields.

• Bonus: Familiarity with compilers, rules engines, workflow engines, or thoroughly evaluated ML products.
