Member of Technical Staff – Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to gain insights into their legal and business workflows, systems, and technical needs.

• Develop and implement integrations utilizing the GC AI API, progressing from initial prototypes to full production deployment.

• Assist clients in integrating GC AI into essential business functions, such as contract review, procurement, vendor management, and compliance.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with customer integrations in real-time.

• Recognize and document repeatable deployment patterns, contributing these insights back to Product and Engineering for reusable platform capabilities.

• Produce reference implementations, documentation, and best practices to enable future clients to accelerate their processes.

• Travel to customer locations as necessary (up to 25%).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and delivering production software.

• Proven experience in collaborating directly with clients, users, or stakeholders to create and implement technical solutions (backgrounds in FDE, solutions engineering, consulting, or technical founding are all relevant).

• Proficient programming abilities in TypeScript or Python, with experience in one or more additional programming languages preferred.

• Practical experience with APIs, integrations, webhooks, or platform products.

• Capability to lead technical projects while managing a high level of ownership and navigating ambiguity.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
