This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Participate in the design and implementation of the AI Physicist, a self-contained research engine.
• Develop secure, testable code and establish automated unit tests to identify errors.
• Investigate and incorporate state-of-the-art tools into existing systems to improve model performance.
• Implement self-enhancement features that pass automated validations prior to launch.
• Monitor runtime metrics and propose optimizations to maintain project efficiency and sustainability.
• Create customized technological solutions that cater to the unique requirements of researchers.
• Utilize knowledge of product development methodologies to ensure efficacy.
• Work in conjunction with stakeholders to outline requirements, prioritize functionalities, and guarantee successful outcomes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with standard software architecture patterns and best practices is necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in web development and API integrations is crucial.
• Exceptional programming abilities are required.
• Proficiency in generative AI tools and their applications (e.g., ChatGPT, AlphaCode, Claude) is essential.
• Strong communication skills are vital for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of theoretical physics or a keen interest in the subject is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure is beneficial.
