Member of Technical Staff, Custody – Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.

📋 Description

• Delivering a top-tier secure custodial and technological service that facilitates seamless interactions with digital assets, smart contracts, and traditional banking systems.

• Overseeing the complete custody experience, which includes the management and transfer of cash, coins, and NFTs, staking assets, engaging with on-chain smart contracts, fiat transactions, and institutional platform solutions.

• Developing foundational technology that supports the evolution of the cryptocurrency industry in a secure, regulated, and highly protected environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess practical experience in constructing complex distributed systems. While we primarily utilize Go, we are open to learning new languages. Your engineering capabilities are our primary concern, rather than any particular language or framework.

• Take pleasure in creating resilient services that can manage varying workloads without the need for manual oversight.

• Value end-user experience and business impact above "innovative technology".

• Have a genuine commitment to code quality and testing infrastructure.

• Have a solid understanding of "computer science fundamentals", including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures (Formal CS degree NOT necessary).

• Bring real-world experience in building intricate distributed systems.

• Consider software engineering a collaborative endeavor and thrive in teamwork, continuously learning from and mentoring colleagues.

• Although not mandatory, bonus points for: • Experience with applied cryptography.

• Associating the term "crypto" with cryptography rather than cryptocurrency.

• Enjoy reading blockchain protocol white papers for leisure and keeping abreast of advancements in cryptoasset innovations.

• Experience in the design and implementation of GraphQL APIs.

• Experience in the design and implementation of gRPC APIs.

• A background in the finance sector.
