Member of Technical Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of GitLab and various Engineering applications, such as Confluence and CodeCollaborator.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve application-related issues.

• Engage in global infrastructure and development initiatives.

• Offer technical advice and support to junior team members on issues and processes.

• Conduct code and design evaluations.

• Provide support to the Engineering team in the U.S. during designated working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• BE / MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 8 to 12 years of professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting and enhancing GitLab, including Agile Planning, pipelines, CI/CD, user and group/project administration, and familiarity with APIs.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in front-line application support and customer interactions.

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Linux user; system administration experience is an advantage.

• 5 years of experience with Jenkins administration.

• 5 years of experience in Kubernetes development.

• Proficiency in programming and scripting using Python, Shell, REST API services, etc.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

• Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage oneself effectively and learn quickly.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with good listening abilities.

• A remarkable team player who thrives in collaborative environments.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, aligning with the India night shift.
