This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Take ownership of product surfaces from start to finish, encompassing backend services and APIs to the web user interface within the Model Factory platform.
β’ Transform the intricate aspects of model training (including experiments, trajectories, evaluations, and data inspection) into reliable and user-friendly interfaces that people can utilize on a daily basis.
β’ Gain a deep understanding of the requirements of applied researchers; work closely with them to align on their use cases, identify bottlenecks, and deliver new platforms and features to enhance their workflows.
β’ Develop the platform that enables other internal teams to integrate their own user interfaces (known as *our internal design system*).
β’ Rapidly iterate based on feedback, focusing on user adoption and overall usability.
β’ Maintain high standards of quality throughout the stack, emphasizing performance, reliability, and user-friendly interfaces.
β’ Proficient in full-stack product engineering: capable of developing end-to-end solutions, from data modeling to a refined web user interface.
β’ Strong product intuition: able to independently make product decisions based on user needs and exhibit a genuine passion for the products you create.
β’ Well-versed in a contemporary web stack (such as TypeScript / React) and a server-side language, with comfort in all areas of the technology stack.
β’ Flourish in situations of uncertainty and new project development, taking a vaguely defined challenge through to a successfully launched and adopted product.
β’ Possess a low-ego, collaborative mindset, and a fast-paced work ethic; you perform best when working closely with research, product, and infrastructure teams.
β’ Have a foundational understanding of how machine learning models are constructed (including experiments, evaluations, and training workflows), or a strong desire to learn about it.
β’ Experience with data analysis tools, agent tools, or AI-related products.
