This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +5 more states.
• Deliver outstanding service to Credit Union members through phone, email, web channels, mail, and facsimile.
• Handle deposits and withdrawals efficiently.
• Examine account details and credit/card transactions.
• Manage loan payments.
• Offer basic support for online banking.
• Assist with the Credit Union’s depository and lending products.
• Strive to meet cross-sell objectives set by the Credit Union.
• Provide prompt and effective service to members via phone, mail, and facsimile.
• Consult with members to identify their needs, propose solutions, and follow up on pending transactions.
• Suggest products and services, including additional offerings.
• Open new member accounts, such as savings, checking, money market, trust, certificates, and IRA accounts.
• Complete necessary account forms and agreements.
• Conduct account maintenance tasks, including changes to address/name, updates to ownership and beneficiaries, account closures, handling deceased accounts, and providing notary services.
• Detect and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraudulent activity.
• Fulfill required training and compliance modules.
• Engage in and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the confidentiality of member and sensitive information.
• Follow assigned schedules while working in a phone queue.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience with a proven ability to meet or exceed service and sales targets.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Capability for remote signing and operating a webcam.
• Excellent follow-up skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs.
• Proficient written communication skills (Email) with attention to grammar and spelling.
• Member service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments – Team player.
• Genuine desire to assist members through meaningful conversations, exhibiting empathy and a caring nature.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
