This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Deliver outstanding service to Credit Union members through phone, e-mail, web channels, mail, and facsimile.
• Handle deposits and withdrawals, review account details and credit/card transactions, process loan payments, and offer basic online banking assistance.
• Promote the Credit Union’s depository and lending products while striving to meet cross-selling objectives.
• Adhere to designated schedules and provide prompt service in a phone queue.
• Engage with members to identify their needs, present solutions, and follow up on outstanding transactions.
• Suggest suitable products and services.
• Open new Member Accounts, including Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA accounts.
• Complete necessary account forms and agreements.
• Conduct account maintenance tasks such as address/name changes, ownership and beneficiary updates, account closures, deceased accounts, and notary services.
• Detect and report suspicious activities or potential fraud.
• Fulfill mandatory training and compliance requirements.
• Ensure the confidentiality of member and sensitive information.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and represent the Credit Union in a professional manner.
• Execute other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year retail experience with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed service and sales targets.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
• Professional verbal communication skills and proper etiquette.
• Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Experience with remote signing and capability to operate a webcam.
• Exceptional follow-up skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively listen, comprehend, and anticipate member needs.
• Excellent written communication skills (Email) with a focus on grammar and spelling.
• Member service and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate well with other departments – a true team player.
• A genuine passion for assisting members through meaningful conversations and a caring, empathetic demeanor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must reside in Alaska, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, or Wyoming.
