MedTech Field Service Software Technician, Entry Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, repair, and upgrade medical devices across hospitals in the United States

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and local teams

• Organize, test, install, and configure medical devices, as well as hardware, software, and network products

• Set up and arrange equipment and workstations

• Perform routine inspections and document data from product evaluations post-installation and configuration

• Oversee project schedules and address customer requirements

• Travel nationwide to fulfill customer needs

• Complete tasks typically requiring 1–3 weeks on-site

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant technical experience is required

• Preferred: Over 3 years of experience in a technical role focusing on hardware and software installations

• Preferred experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT

• Encouragement for prior military veterans with experience in electronics, maintenance, or IT-related MOS to apply

• Required: Professional business acumen, including strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using basic software applications and the Microsoft operating system

• Capable of assembling and disassembling equipment and devices

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Required: Ability to work independently in customer environments with minimal supervision

• Active and unrestricted driver's license is necessary

• Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job-related tasks up to 3 hours from home

• Must reside within 1 hour of a major airport

• Willingness to travel nationally and maintain 3 weeks of open availability each month

• Healthcare facility credentialing and necessary immunizations/vaccinations may be required

• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship
