• Interact with Medicare prospects and current members to educate and assist them throughout the sales journey.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with a designated group of existing Florida Blue members.
• Function as a licensed telephonic sales agent, employing outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Help prospective and current FB members discover a Florida Blue Medicare plan by performing a Needs Analysis.
• Actively inform current and prospective members about Medicare fundamentals, enrollment criteria, and potential penalties.
• Retain membership post-enrollment through a series of welcome calls that educate members about their new plans.
• Assist marketing initiatives through both inbound and outbound telephonic sales calls.
• Surpass New Sales targets, retention rates, telephonic service standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Recognize and address purchasing hurdles faced by new customers and existing members.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to enhance retention.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience Overview: Background in a tele-sales setting selling Medicare and ancillary plans.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Required Licenses and Certifications: Valid Florida state health insurance license 2-15 Health, Life and Variable Annuities or 2-40 Health.
• Proven time management abilities and skills in handling multiple priorities.
• Experience working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in using computers and navigating various systems and screens, including documentation of information.
• Ability to listen effectively and relate key information to similar selling scenarios to provide appropriate responses and actions.
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings and weekends.
