This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the promotion and sale of Health Plan Medicare Advantage products, specifically targeting the Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) market.

• Inform potential members about Medicare and Medi-Cal programs.

• Ensure adherence to regulations set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).

• Foster enrollment growth within the communities of San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Alpine, and El Dorado County.

• Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at increasing Medicare enrollments, with a particular focus on the D-SNP demographic.

• Conduct both individual and group sales presentations for Medicare-eligible individuals, caregivers, and community organizations.

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with community partners, providers, and key stakeholders to identify and assist eligible individuals.

• Participate in and organize community outreach events, health fairs, and informational sessions to generate leads and enhance awareness.

• Keep precise records of sales activities, leads, and enrollments in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure high levels of member satisfaction and retention.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Medicare.

• At least 2 years of experience in consulting or sales.

• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, CMS, and DHCS regulations.

• Understanding of Medi-Cal and Medicare.

• Familiarity with compliance regulations from CMS and DHCS regarding Medi-Cal and Medicare sales and marketing.

• Must possess exceptional listening and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment while supporting a strong customer service orientation.

• Must demonstrate advanced experience in a team-oriented, collaborative setting as a self-starter capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals both inside and outside of HPSJ, comfortably relating to diverse groups.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a manner that is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as writing technical specifications.

• Exemplifies strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

• Ability to manage confidential information with appropriate discretion.

• Bilingual in Spanish – proficiency will be tested.
