Medical Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assess and prioritize asynchronous medical inquiries to maintain patient safety and ensure overnight care.

• Deliver tailored medical guidance to patients efficiently via email and telephone.

• Address medical incidents within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Support the development of medical knowledge resources for the Patient and Medical Support teams.

• Actively engage with patients throughout their treatment process.

• Collaborate with Medical Support Specialists to enhance processes and systems.

• Serve as a vital point of contact for prescribers, Health Coaches, and various teams.

• Commit to permanent 8-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered healthcare professional, such as a pharmacist or nurse.

• At least 2 years of post-registration experience in a healthcare environment.

• Proven experience with primary care conditions.

• Experience in online healthcare is advantageous.

• Proficient in navigating digital applications for clinical practice.

• Capable of making timely and accurate referral decisions based on clinical judgment.

• Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely to patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.

• Experience in supporting or treating patients through online, text-based asynchronous conversations is a plus.

• Familiarity with modern weight-loss treatment methods is an advantage.
