Medical Scribe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Record the medical history, symptoms, previous diagnoses, and other relevant health information of patients.

• Document the findings of physicians or healthcare providers, along with follow-up instructions and prescribed treatments.

• Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictations pertaining to patient requests, such as laboratory tests and medications.

• Create and maintain records within the EHR/EMR systems.

• Facilitate communication and coordination among healthcare providers, patients, and other professionals.

• Ensure the accuracy of medical record documentation and adherence to regulatory and institutional standards.

• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in medical fields or a pharmaceutical-related industry.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, in Medical Documentation, or a related field.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a minimum of B2 level.

• A solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.

• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems with the ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.

• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Tech-savvy and familiar with current technologies, such as desktop sharing and cloud services.
