Medical Science Liaison, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Build and sustain trusted, scientifically informed relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific experts, healthcare professionals, and pertinent medical societies within the designated territory.

• Engage in high-caliber, non-promotional scientific discussions and deliver precise, balanced, and current medical information.

• Create and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.

• Collect, analyze, and convey significant scientific and medical insights from the field.

• Assist in the planning and execution of advisory boards, investigator-sponsored studies, medical initiatives, and congresses.

• Collaborate with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams.

• Represent Sobi at scientific congresses, symposia, and external forums.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of the therapeutic area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Science, Life Science, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of direct experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

• Background in Medical Affairs or Sales.

• Comprehensive understanding of the national healthcare system and relevant healthcare practices.

• Experience in KOL management and strategic account planning.

• Demonstrated capability to establish, nurture, and maintain networks with KOLs at the national level.

• Experience in communicating and fostering effective relationships with relevant authorities.

• Reside within the territory: Rostock, Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Kulmbach, Nordhausen, and surrounding areas.

• Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the territory.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Fluency in English as well as the local language.

• Proficient in modern IT tools and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Ability to clearly and effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
