This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to the Medical Affairs strategy by delivering precise, balanced, and up-to-date scientific and clinical information regarding Cosette's oncology portfolio, disease states, treatment landscape, clinical evidence, and unmet medical needs.
• Act as the field-based scientific authority for the oncology portfolio and assist in the development of territory medical plans.
• Create and implement territory engagement strategies for oncology key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, academic institutions, community oncology practices, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct impartial, non-promotional medical-to-medical scientific discussions.
• Address unsolicited medical/scientific inquiries and facilitate follow-up actions.
• Collect, document, and relay actionable field-based scientific insights.
• Support investigator-initiated trials, help identify Cosette-sponsored study sites, and engage with investigators or advisory panels.
• Assist with medical congress coverage, advisory board meetings, scientific communications, medical education initiatives, speaker training, and scientific content review.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in oncology disease areas, products, clinical data, treatment guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Record stakeholder interactions, insights, follow-up actions, training sessions, expenses, and other necessary documentation.
• Operate in accordance with Cosette policies, the PhRMA Code, OIG guidelines, FDA regulations, and relevant laws, including adverse event and product complaint reporting.
• A terminal scientific or clinical degree is required: PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a comparable field medical role is essential.
• Experience working with oncology KOLs, academic institutions, community oncology practices, clinical investigators, or multidisciplinary cancer care teams in the designated geography.
• A solid understanding of oncology disease states, treatment landscapes, clinical trial design, evidence interpretation, treatment guidelines, and compliant scientific communication.
• Capability to engage with external experts and convey complex scientific information in a clear, accurate, credible, and compliant manner.
• Strong scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Exceptional presentation, scientific communication, relationship-building, and both virtual and in-person engagement skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a large field territory with sound scientific judgment and integrity.
• The candidate must either reside within the assigned Central region or be willing to relocate prior to commencing the role.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75%, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
