This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Drive change by enhancing clinical practices within the designated territory.
• Engage in scientific discussions with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and medical specialists.
• Cultivate professional relationships and interact with HCPs, including community physicians, pharmacists, medical experts, and nurses.
• Offer support for clinical trials that the company sponsors.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area and Novartis products.
• Complete all administrative tasks and training promptly.
• A graduate degree in science or healthcare is mandatory.
• A doctoral degree is preferred (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.).
• 0-3 years of experience in a Field Medical role for Manager Level or 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Field Medical position is preferred, or 5-7 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related field is required for Associate Director Level.
• Strong clinical expertise, including knowledge of pharmacotherapy, treatment guidelines, clinical research methodologies, engagement strategies with medical experts, and familiarity with FDA promotional guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards is essential.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the border of the territory.
