This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Coordinate and assess safety data utilizing line listings, company dashboards, and visualization tools.
• Analyze data for safety patterns, coding uniformity, and potential follow-up with investigator sites.
• Recognize potential issues and address or escalate them as necessary.
• Examine safety data and provide summaries for safety review meetings.
• Review specified sections of aggregate reports.
• Assist in the creation and evaluation of safety and medical management plans for studies.
• Ensure that plan processes align with contracted services.
• Aid in the management of routine project implementation, forecasting, and coordination, including metrics and budget considerations.
• Monitor the status of data reviews and escalate any delays or risks to stakeholders and study leaders.
• Present at business development, client, and investigator meetings.
• Engage in strategy and business development discussions.
• Resolve intricate problems through thorough evaluation and provide solutions.
• Act as the primary contact for clinical/data management project teams.
• Support management with training and mentoring initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field in Health Sciences (e.g., Physician's Assistant) or a licensed RN.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical safety experience in clinical research monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or a combination of both.
• Equivalency through appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with GCPs for medical oversight of clinical trials and SAE processing.
• Understanding of drug development and safety reporting practices.
• Knowledge of safety data trending, including coding methodologies.
• Working knowledge of biostatistics, data management, and clinical procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
• Capability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and engage in frequent mobility.
• Ability to lift and carry weights of 15–20 lbs.
• Proficiency in accessing and using both in-house and commercial computer software.
• Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend spoken and written information.
• Competence to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
