Medical Process Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the analysis of medical processes and collaborate with MSLs, Medical Information teams, as well as global and local process owners.

• Conduct stakeholder sessions to reconcile regional requirements and variations.

• Outline workflows for medical engagement, insights, and inquiries, including exceptions, handoffs, ownership, and closure criteria.

• Create process narratives, define requirements, establish business rules, and outline acceptance scenarios.

• Assist in the transition to Vault CRM by assessing capabilities, identifying gaps, and documenting dependencies.

• Evaluate solution demonstrations, clarify requirements, and coordinate with Veeva and retained-system owners.

• Aid in business testing and prepare documentation for handover.

• Identify and escalate decisions related to policy, clinical matters, or safety to the appropriate stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis or process consulting.

• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or medical CRM workflows.

• Over 2 years of relevant experience with Salesforce-based Veeva CRM processes.

• Proven experience participating in at least one Vault CRM discovery, transition, requirements, configuration review, or business-testing project related to medical processes.

• Experience collaborating across multiple markets and directly with medical stakeholders.

• Strong background in SOP-based process analysis, requirements traceability, and acceptance criteria.

• Familiarity with scientific interaction recording, medical insights, inquiry routing, and the distinction between medical and commercial activities.

• Experience with medical information systems, safety escalation handoffs, or business UAT is advantageous.

• Knowledge of BPMN, Jira/Confluence, and proficiency in German or French are preferred.

• A background in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
