This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.
β’ Collaborate with the Medical Director of Content Generation to establish and sustain a scalable pipeline for addressing clinical and research inquiries across various disease areas and interventions.
β’ Create and curate a repository of frequently asked clinician and consumer questions covering a wide array of clinical conditions, from the common to the obscure.
β’ Transform clinical queries into structured phenotypes or ontological representations (e.g., ICD-10 codes, RxNORM, LOINC, CPT).
β’ Metatag generated content to facilitate enhanced search and retrieval across the Atropos platform.
β’ Source and integrate external content, including published studies, active clinical trials, payor policies, CMS Local Coverage Determinations, and consumer-oriented clinical questions.
β’ Validate study outputs against published literature and engage in output QA/QC processes.
β’ Produce reusable, well-documented code and content that can be incorporated into internal tools and presented to external stakeholders through collaboration with product and engineering teams.
β’ Leverage LLMs and generative AI tools to create a variety of outputs, including code, interactive widgets, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, and markdown documents.
β’ Develop and utilize internal and external APIs; contribute to the API development for Atropos products.
β’ Collaborate across clinical, engineering, product, and customer success teams.
β’ Daily hands-on experience with Python, R, or SQL β either independently or preferably in combination with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT-4, Cursor, Copilot).
β’ Proven capability to iterate towards high-quality outputs through structured, self-directed quality checks, taking ownership of the end-to-end process.
β’ Familiarity with clinical terminology standards (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNORM/NDC) and the ability to swiftly grasp the clinical intricacies of how these ontologies are utilized in real-world healthcare.
β’ Proficiency in producing clean, reusable code and content that can be built upon by others.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Ability to operate within standard US business hours across any US time zone.
