Medical Imaging Field Engineer 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide service for MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI region

• Install, maintain, service, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at client locations

• Ensure prompt and efficient repairs

• Train operators to guarantee optimal system functionality and customer satisfaction

• Oversee financial performance in the territory, including revenue, expenses, and inventory management

• Manage company resources, such as the company vehicle, phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts

• Develop and sustain professional relationships with clients and colleagues

• Accurately perform administrative tasks

• Deliver services across the designated geography

• Engage in an on-call rotation following training and certification

⛳️ Requirements

• At least a high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience

• 3–5+ years of desirable field service experience

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, performing preventive maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal oversight

• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment

• Skilled in utilizing tools and service testing equipment

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team

• Willingness to travel and provide services in the assigned area

• Open to participating in an on-call rotation after training and certification

• Valid driver's license in the state of residence

• Ability to drive independently, day or night, with a clean driving record

• Must comply with Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training

• Must be able to work with controlled technology under U.S. export control laws
