• Oversee the editorial tasks for designated accounts.
• Conduct medical editing, verify facts, and prepare submissions for pharmaceutical marketing materials.
• Edit each project for accurate spelling, grammar, and consistency.
• Perform fact-checking and thorough reviews, including unbranded claims.
• Assess client and medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) modifications in context.
• Take on primary editing duties for one or more accounts.
• Collaborate effectively with the assigned account team(s) to pinpoint and recommend efficiencies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, English, Life Science, Regulatory).
• At least 3 years of editing experience in medical communications, the pharmaceutical sector, and/or healthcare.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the advertising and/or pharmaceutical marketing industry is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience editing publications (manuscripts, posters, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar.
• Proficient in American Medical Association (AMA) Style (11th edition).
• Understanding of Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) requirements and client submission platforms (e.g., Veeva).
• High degree of autonomy along with a team-oriented and detail-focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English grammar.
