📋 Description

• Create clear and concise communication materials for health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs across various channels, including email, mailers, intranet, guides, FAQs, presentations, video, and collaboration platforms, and oversee the process from concept to delivery.

• Responsible for the benefits communication strategy related to retiree-focused materials, ensuring precision in Medicare messaging, eligibility guidelines, and updates to plans.

• Lead the benefits communication strategy for the annual open enrollment period, encompassing timelines, messaging, and content creation.

• Collaborate with Benefits, HRIS, legal teams, and vendors to ensure that all content complies with plan documents and regulatory requirements, including ERISA, ACA, Medicare, HIPAA, and brand standards.

• Craft talking points, job aids, and toolkits for HR representatives, managers, and call center personnel.

• Proactively anticipate questions and risks, addressing them with targeted messaging.

• Maintain and refresh benefits webpages, portals, and Workday-related content in collaboration with HRIS and IT departments.

• Evaluate vendor communications for clarity, accuracy, and appropriate tone.

• Assist in change management efforts for new programs, alterations in plan design, and system enhancements.

• Develop communication plans for change management, stakeholder messaging, and employee readiness materials for significant initiatives.

• Define and monitor success metrics such as engagement metrics, enrollment figures, call center volume, and employee feedback, utilizing data to recommend enhancements to the communication strategy and its delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in benefits communication, change management, employee communication, HR communications, or benefits administration, coupled with strong writing capabilities.

• Proficient in translating complex benefits topics (medical, dental, vision, retirement, Medicare, retiree plans) into clear and accessible language.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and content organization skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience collaborating with HR, Total Rewards, and external vendors.

• Familiar with Benefits Administration systems and HRIS platforms.

• Experience with Workday is a plus.

• Knowledge of Salesforce and SharePoint is beneficial.

• Capable of managing multiple deadlines and delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, HR, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Relations, or a related field.
