Medical Director – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the identification, prioritization, and development of innovative metabolic health solutions and longevity protocols.

• Act as the definitive clinical resource for Legal and Compliance regarding company and practice-related issues.

• Collaborate closely with the CEO, the Chief Medical Officer, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Medical Advisors to integrate clinical innovation with organizational objectives.

• Assess and foster high-level clinical relationships with external partners, including pharmacies, diagnostics, and care solutions that are part of or will be incorporated into the formulary and care protocols of Found Health.

• Produce clinical perspective documents to inform new offerings.

• Ensure that all clinical designs uphold exceptional standards of care and medical safety while facilitating a seamless user experience.

• Provide the "clinical blueprint" for the Product team, working alongside the AMD and Clinical Ops Lead on the implementation of technical requirements.

• Enhance Found training programs for clinicians to guarantee the delivery of distinctive, consistent, and high-quality care to our patients. Collaborate closely with the Product team to reduce access barriers and discover innovative methods for an enjoyable user experience.

• Responsible for the creation and adoption of all Clinical Practice Guidelines (CGLs).

• Accountable for the performance of all clinicians, ensuring the provision of a high-quality standardized care experience for all patients, adherence to Found company and clinical guidelines, and maintaining a high-quality, cost-effective practice in alignment with industry standards.

• Supervise the Associate Medical Director in their management of Clinical Quality (e.g., chart audits) and the development of provider education.

• Propel the overall practice-wide adoption of clinical guidelines and protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO with active board certification in a pertinent field.

• Metabolic Health and Longevity Expertise: A solid background or interest in longevity medicine and metabolic health is highly preferred.

• Clinical Leadership: At least 7 years of clinical experience, including substantial time in a leadership role within a technology-enabled, virtual-first direct pay and insurance-based practice.

• Visionary Mindset: Capability to convert complex medical concepts into clear strategic plans that can be executed by product and operational teams, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Innovation-driven: Enthusiasm for working in a continually evolving, fast-paced environment, and for innovating with a patient-centered focus.
