This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Act as the scientific services client lead for designated promotional accounts
β’ Evaluate promotional materials from a medical perspective and offer insights on promotional strategies
β’ Provide subject matter expertise while creating slide decks, flashcards/brochures, video scripts, and various other content
β’ Exhibit therapeutic-area and landscape knowledge for internal teams and clients
β’ Support clients' strategic initiatives, new products, technologies, and daily operations
β’ Develop and/or review medical communications projects across various clients and therapeutic areas
β’ Offer onsite assistance at key client meetings, congresses, or other events
β’ Ensure that deliverables are scientifically sound, align with client strategies, and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards
β’ Comprehend competitive landscapes and key healthcare provider stakeholders
β’ Aid in formulating strategic direction and planning for assigned accounts
β’ Collaborate with senior scientific staff and participate in internal and external meetings
β’ Provide scientific support to clients
β’ Oversee projects and content development for junior scientific staff
β’ Potentially supervise direct reports
β’ Assist in new business initiatives as directed
β’ Travel as necessary
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation capabilities
β’ Ability to comprehend complex scientific and medical literature
β’ Competence in helping to develop comprehensive client strategies
β’ Experience in direct client and healthcare professional interactions
β’ Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and consistent content
β’ Capability to engage with a diverse range of audiences and simplify complex concepts
β’ Background in developing medical communications materials
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively within internal and external teams
β’ Experience working directly with clients, leading discussions, and identifying solutions to business challenges
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
β’ Master of Science, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent qualification
β’ At least 5 years of medical writing experience, ideally in a healthcare marketing or communications agency
β’ Internship, preceptorship, or equivalent experience
